Cutting façade panels

We cut all types of façade panels

We cut and calibrate façade panels of all types and thicknesses such as fiber cement, HPL, MDF, and veneer. If required, we can drill the necessary holes in the panels according to your drawings. We can also carry out custom orders.

The shapes we cut:

  • straight cutting;
  • diagonal cutting;
  • cutting in half (length, height, or width);
  • cutting at 45 degrees;
  • drilling holes;
  • calibration;
  • impregnation of panels and/or components.
  • We also like to make custom orders. Contact us!

We cut professionally, using industrial machines

Cutting work is carried out professionally in the factory, using modern cutting machines equipped with the best diamond wheels, with prices up to EUR 3,000 per wheel. We can therefore guarantee our customers:

  • high cutting accuracy (we cut to within 1–2 mm);
  • perfectly smooth cut edges;
  • no frayed or uneven edges;
  • high cutting speed.

Grinding and impregnating edges

After cutting the panels, we process the edges of the panels by hand to achieve a perfect edge appearance. In addition, we impregnate all cut edges of the panels as required by the panel manufacturer.

This gives them protection against water absorption and, at the same time, durability.

Drilling and impregnating holes

If you wish, we can drill the necessary holes in the panels according to your drawings and impregnate them.

We guarantee short deadlines

We use only the best diamond wheels and other equipment for cutting, with a high capacity that not only ensures quality and precision but also speed. We can cut or calibrate 80 to 100 panels per day.

We calculate and optimize yield

We optimize the cutting of the panels – we use a special program to calculate how many panels will be needed and the best way to cut them to obtain the required quantity of panels at the lowest cost.

Packaging, transport, and storage

The prepared panels are arranged and packed on separate pallets in the correct order, marking the parts of the façade drawings on the packaging. This makes the subsequent installation of the panels much easier and quicker.

If necessary, we can deliver the panels to the right place for an extra charge. We offer a free storage service for the week before and the week after cutting. Additional storage is available for an agreed fee.

Prices

We always offer our clients the best value for money.

Panel calibration/cutting

This starts at EUR 0.60 +VAT per linear meter.

If a large quantity of panels is to be cut/calibrated, the price is negotiated individually. Contact us!

    SHORTCOMINGS of cutting panels on site

    The quality of the manual cutting wheels is poor and the service life is very short. As a result, cutting is often carried out with a worn wheel. This leads to uneven, frayed edges. In addition, the edges of the panels are not further sanded or machined when cutting on-site. This results in poor quality, an unacceptable appearance, and defects.
    It is impossible to maintain precision accuracy, which results in a high incidence of curved cuts and curved, uneven seams (edges).
    Impregnation of panel edges and holes is not carried out. Moisture builds up in non-impregnated edges and holes, leading to poor material quality and defective work.
    Cutting yields are not precalculated, optimized, or controlled. The yield is only known at the end of the installation and can be as high as 15–30% due to the high number of incorrect cuts.
    The cutting process generates a lot of dust and dust balls. If the cut panels cannot be adequately protected, they often become stained. This is particularly evident in the case of fiber cement panels.
    High cutting speeds and productivity cannot be achieved. This leads to a halt in further panel installation work, downtime for workers, and additional costs in terms of hold-ups and project delays.

    ADVANTAGES of cutting panels with us

    We cut panels using machines with high-quality diamond wheels. After the cut, we do additional manual machining and sanding of the edges (sides) of the panels, thus achieving a perfectly smooth edge.
    Cutting with automated machines allows us to achieve the ideal cutting accuracy according to the client’s requirements (cutting with a tolerance of 1–2 mm).
    We can impregnate the edges and holes of the cut panels according to the requirements of the panel manufacturer. This gives them protection against water absorption and, at the same time, durability.
    We optimize the cutting in advance – we calculate how many panels will be needed and the best way to cut them to obtain the required number of panels at the lowest possible cost, using a special program. In this way, the optimum yield is achieved.
    All cut panels are properly stored and protected from possible dust.
    The high productivity of the machine and the use of the best diamond wheels result in a very high rate of panel cutting. We can also handle the largest orders quickly and without unnecessary delays. We can cut or calibrate 80 to 100 panels per day.
